The General Accountant will be responsible for managing the daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in the company’s financial records, and preparing detailed financial reports. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of Dynamo Capital by performing key accounting tasks and supporting senior management with financial insights.
· Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, payments, and bank statements.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
· Reconcile bank accounts and other financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
· Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
· Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and assist with audits.
· Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasting.
· Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
· Collaborate with the CFO and other team members on financial strategy and analysis.
· Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred but not required.
· 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
· Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
· High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to meet deadlines.
Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
