Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and washing surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to handle basic maintenance tasks such as buffing floors and performing light repairs
- Familiarity with residential painting is a plus
- Understanding of commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of porter duties including maintaining building security
- Proficiency in floor care including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Experience in industrial cleaning practices is beneficial
- Ability to assist with facilities maintenance tasks when required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
