Position: Housekeeping Workers
Position Type: 6 months Contract to Hire
Shift Info:
- Monday - Friday some weekends.
- 7:00am - 3:00pm
Compensation Details:
- Straight Time Pay Rate: $11.50 per hour
- Over Time Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour
- Double Time Pay Rate: $23 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our facilities.
Qualifications:
- Must have some basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning chemicals, and how to operate some equipment used in cleaning and 6 Month Experience.
- Also, must be physically able to lift 25-50 pounds and squat, stoop or bend as required for cleaning.
The select selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities.
- Maintains supplies as needed.
- Cleans and straightens assigned areas.
- Collect, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms.
- Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
- Operates hand tools
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Physical Setting:
- Rehabilitation center
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
