Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality product support to resolve complex technical issues with existing products.
- Analyse, improve designs and drive changes or modifications to improve product performance and reliability.
- Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance production processes and resolve issues.
- Document test results, write and revise assembly procedures, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve products.
- Address customer related product complaints, perform root cause analysis, and propose remediation.
- Develop and implement product customizations by closely collaborating with field application engineers and marketing teams to meet customer-specific requirements and market demands.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in in a similar role, preferably in the medical, automative or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCad), and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and 3D printing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., ISO/EN, ATEX, NAMCO).
- Experience in a specific industry such as industrial, automotive, or medical.
