Position Overview: The Account Data Engineering Specialist plays a critical role in obtaining, reviewing, and processing Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI) into the company's sourcing system with a 99% error-free rate. This position leverages advanced AI systems to rapidly research, analyze, and document logistics and marketing information. The role supports account management, data accuracy, and efficient sourcing to ensure the timely and precise delivery of purchased items.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Processing and Accuracy:
- Receive, review, and accurately process RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs from customer accounts via multiple channels, including web-based portals and email.
- Input and verify all data related to RFPs and RFIs into the company’s sourcing system, maintaining a 99% accuracy rate.

AI-Driven Market Research, Analysis, and Sourcing:
- Utilize AI tools to extract relevant information from RFQ, RFP, and RFI submissions from customers.
- Utilize AI tools to complete Requirements Analyses to correctly classify and describe items that have been requested by customers.
- Utilize AI tools to quickly and efficiently identify potential sources, estimated prices, and availability for requested materials.
- Utilize AI tools to complete comprehensive market research and analyses to support overall account management initiatives, including collection of competitive analysis data.

Quotation and Account Management:
- Support the Account Manager/Executive in the preparation and submission of accurate, compliant quotes for customer RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of sourcing and data management processes.
- Provide constructive feedback to internal teams to refine sourcing, data handling, and account management workflows.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience in roles such as Account Specialist, Data Specialist, Procurement Analyst, or similar positions.
- Demonstrated ability to process RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with AI tools for sourcing and market research is highly preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based sourcing platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach.
