What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Coordinator position at DynaxAmerica?
Responsible for monitoring and improving upon the quality of manufactured products. Tests, measures, and evaluates manufactured products to ensure compliance with customer and company standards. Other duties as assigned.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Monitors operation of machines to assure parts are being properly manufactured.
- Inspects samples of completed parts to assure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Test items by analyzing size, weight, chemical composition, and components.
- Ensures production process meets defined standards.
- Perform daily audits of manufacturing processes to ensure they meet internal customer standards.
- Assists with containment activity and monitors sorting activity during the shift for effectiveness and accuracy.
- Provides assistance with training as necessary.
- Perform daily inspections for all departments for each part produced.
- Determine correct course of action if product is found defective.
- Perform statistical analysis and data analysis.
- Assist with quality control audits.
- Create reports of quality control tests and analyze the data to determine if any changes in the production process are necessary.
- Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality Management program.
- Trains employees such as production team members, covering quality standards, work methods, and procedures.
- Hold pass-down meetings with team members as necessary.
- Serves as primary Quality contact for each assigned shift.
