Solution Architect – Revenue Accounting and Reporting (SAP)

Job Summary : As a Solution Architect for Revenue Accounting and Reporting in SAP, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions within SAP that drive revenue accounting, compliance, and financial reporting in the telecommunications industry. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure systems are aligned with business goals, accounting standards, and telecom industry requirements. This position involves defining the architecture, guiding the integration of SAP with other platforms, and ensuring data integrity and transparency for financial reporting.Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions for revenue accounting and reporting, ensuring alignment with telecom industry standards and regulatory requirements (ASC 606, IFRS 15).
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to define system requirements and implement best-in-class accounting solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module, including integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, BRIM).
• Architect scalable solutions that support end-to-end revenue management, from contract inception to revenue recognition and financial reporting.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to streamline revenue accounting workflows.
• Ensure data integrity and validation and support internal / external audits.
• Guide and mentor SAP project teams through the solution delivery lifecycle, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, testing, and deployment.
• Lead cross-functional design workshops and facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.Qualifications :
• Education :  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience :  Minimum of 15 years in SAP solution architecture with a focus on revenue accounting and financial reporting.
• Industry Expertise :  Experience within telecommunications and familiarity with subscription-based and consumption-based revenue models.
• Technical Skills :  Proficiency in SAP RAR, FI / CO, SD, and SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) modules.
• Knowledge :  Solid understanding of ASC 606, IFRS 15, and telecom-specific accounting standards.
• Soft Skills :  Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills :
• SAP Certification in RAR, FI / CO, or BRIM.
• Experience with SAP S / 4HANA and SAP FICO integration.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale, complex SAP implementations.
