Role Summary :
The Director, Procurement will be responsible for managing the source to pay operations. The objective is to ensure Dyne is routinely sourcing and negotiating its external spend following a standard and efficient process. Initially, the role will be to create and manage a standard process with the help of a third-party managed service provider (MSP). Over time, the role will evolve to include any one or more of the following : integration of the sourcing process with internal systems (e.g., Contracts, ERP, Visualization Softwares, etc.), administration of a procurement policy, management reporting and dashboards, and training.
This role is based in Waltham, MA without the possibility of being a remote role.
Primary Responsibilities Include :
- Establish and manage a standard sourcing and contract negotiations process.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to build and manage a pipeline of sourcing initiatives.
- Own the relationship with the MSP, achieving high-quality service levels and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
- Continuously improve the sourcing process to achieve industry standard return on investment.
- Create and publish routinely a set of procurement metrics.
- Provide training to the organization, as required.
- Create and manage a procurement policy, including periodic auditing and compliance.
- Manage subscriptions and software service providers, in partnership with IT.
- Support Corporate Social Responsibility and external reporting obligations, as required.
