What You'll Do
As aMechanicalEngineering Intern, you will gain manufacturing experience through working with Engineers, Operations, and Management while completing determined projects and applying education.You will be part of a dynamic team who ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.You will be responsible for workingwith the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates.Other duties will include:

Demonstrateand/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety

Liveand foster the IPL Corporate Value, andParticipate in BEx initiatives and activities

Workwith the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates

Spendtime understanding the business while being mentored by assigned manager and Senior Engineer

Collaboratewith Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks

Involvement with researching and design of projects

Present findings/results on projectsfrom internship at the end of theprogram

Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
