We are seeking a skilled IP strategist to join our team as Associate Director/Director of IP, responsible for managing our global IP portfolio, developing and implementing a comprehensive IP strategy, and collaborating with internal R&D teams and external patent counsel to secure patent applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in protecting our innovative discoveries and shaping the future of gene therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive intellectual property strategy that aligns with business objectives and innovation pipeline.* Manage the company's global IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.* Collaborate with internal R&D teams and external patent counsel to prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications.* Conduct IP diligence, including patentability assessments and freedom-to-operate analyses.* Monitor competitive IP landscapes and trends to advise on opportunities and threats related to intellectual property.* Support technology transfers and licensing-out efforts.* Provide internal training and awareness programs to educate staff on IP best practices, patent filing procedures, and IP compliance.
