Workato Integration Consultant
Bay area, CA ( REMOTE possible )
Lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using the Workato platform to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to gather integration requirements and define project scope.
Design and architect scalable and efficient integration workflows, connectors, and data mappings in Workato.
Develop and configure integrations between various applications, systems, and APIs using Workato's drag-and-drop interface and scripting capabilities.
Hands-on in developing Recipes using Workato
Understanding of Workato Frameworks such as AOF and concepts related to Workato
Experience or exposure to Integration Design and Patterns using API, Webhooks, PubSub etc.
Work may involve Design of Integrations between Applications using best practices, patterns etc. and creating Detail Design Documents for Integrations along with mapping documents
Ensure the smooth flow of data between systems by implementing error handling, data validation, and exception management mechanisms in Workato.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve integration issues, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers or integration specialists on the team.
Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding best practices, and drive continuous improvement in development processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities of the Workato platform and propose innovative solutions to enhance integration capabilities.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities related to Workato integration projects.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Workato Tech Lead, leading the design and development of complex integration solutions.
Should have worked with other iPass tools such as Dell Boomi.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing integrations using the Workato platform, including building workflows, connectors, and transformations.
Proficient in working with various integration patterns and technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and SQL.
Experience in integrating cloud-based applications (SaaS) and on-premises systems using Workato.
Solid understanding of data integration and synchronization concepts, data transformation, and mapping techniques.
Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python) to implement custom logic and enhancements in Workato.
Familiarity with API management, authentication, and security concepts in the context of integrations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
