We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce and CPQ to lead solution architecture efforts across enterprise platforms and systems. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical skills to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture Definition
- Lead architectural planning and solution design for Salesforce implementations with a strong focus on CPQ.
- Recommend scalable and maintainable solutions that align with enterprise roadmaps and comply with architectural standards.
- Produce detailed architectural documentation and stakeholder-facing materials to communicate design decisions.
Design Ownership & Success Metrics
- Partner with IT, business, product, and engineering teams to understand business objectives and translate them into Salesforce-centric architecture.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with architecture direction from design through deployment.
- Proactively evaluate risk and performance trade-offs, guiding cross-functional teams through iterative improvements.
Hands-on Technical Engagement
- Provide guidance to development teams on implementing architecture across Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and integrated platforms.
- Ensure system designs are resilient, scalable, and operationally sound.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, long-term strategy, and continuous architectural improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 15 years of experience in enterprise solution architecture roles
- 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce, with 5 years in Salesforce CPQ
- Strong knowledge of Lead-to-Order and/or Order-to-Cash business processes
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership in cross-functional environments and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Experience across all phases of the SDLC
Technical Expertise
- Expert-level knowledge in Salesforce CPQ configuration, pricing, quoting, and product modeling
- Deep experience architecting Salesforce solutions in enterprise-scale environments
- Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with external systems such as payment gateways, eCommerce platforms, partner portals, or ERP systems
- Understanding of modern architectural patterns including microservices, APIs, and containerization
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of data governance, system security, and compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven Salesforce features or integrated intelligent automation
- Experience working in complex, high-scale environments with globally distributed teams
