Operations Specialist (CPG) - Local AZ Candidates Only
We are looking for a Operations Specialist with 3 years of experience that will be responsible for procurement, sales operations, and fulfillment strategies to optimize efficiencies. This role is responsible for two supplier management (domestic / international), day-to-day purchasing activities, and inventory movement to ensure seamless inbound and outbound operations. Candidates must be located in Arizona.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining high service levels for customers while optimizing inventory efficiencies on a daily basis. Responsibilities include creating and tracking purchase orders, transfers, and inventory movements, as well as managing DTC and wholesale order fulfillment to customers.
As this is a department of one, we need a hands-on, strong communicator, proactive professional who can execute daily tasks. This position reports to the VP of Planning and Inventory Control at DYPER.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, effective project management, and the ability to seamlessly transition between tasks and initiatives . The ideal candidate excels in problem-solving, data analysis, efficiency optimization, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration . They should be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment while maintaining a high level of organization and adaptability.
Responsibilities :
- Place approved inventory and non-inventory POs with vendors and manage vendors to meet on-time deliveries.
- Assist the VP of Planning & Inventory Control on the end-to-end inventory flow from suppliers to distribution, ensuring optimal stock levels align with company policies and strategic objectives. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers / vendors to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and supply chain effectiveness.
- Oversee supplier communication, relationships, and performance tracking, ensuring seamless coordination of domestic and international supplier liabilities through a comprehensive dashboard.
- Work closely with the Logistics & Warehouse Manager on inventory.
- Work cross-functionally within DYPER to ensure all stakeholder requirements are accounted for and met. Communicate frequently and openly with all stakeholders.
- Update order information as needed, both pre and post shipment, to accurately reflect shipping quantities, price, location, etc. Include maintaining inbound schedules.
- Establish and meet annual targets for cost reduction and inventory reduction.
- Work closely with internal and external warehouse partners to ensure DTC and wholesale orders are shipped accurately, on time, and in full.
- Understand all customer requirements and partner with the VP of Planning & Inventory create standard operating procedures for warehouse partners to follow to ensure we are fully meeting those requirements.
- Utilize exception reporting to correct systematic errors in a timely manner and reduce the impact to our suppliers and customers.
- Assist where needed with other activities.
