E.A. Buck is a fast-growing financial services company with dual headquarters in Denver and Honolulu. We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Denver. The Senior Accountant will review/manage the day-to-day accounting activities for the firm, including account reconciliations, vendor and contract management, intercompany entries and reconciliations, and perform journal entries as needed.
In addition, the Senior Accountant will assist in performing financial planning and analysis on a monthly basis. Additionally, this individual will act as a backup for other accounting processes, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), bank and credit card reconciliations, and payroll. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and motivated, with experience in multi-company accounting within a high-growth environment. Primary systems in place include Microsoft Office, Salesforce, QuickBooks Desktop, Fathom, Bill.com & ADP.
This position is a full-time, in-office position based out of our Denver office.
NOTE: Only people who are currently living in Colorado will be considered for this role.
Salary / Benefits Package:
Base Salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Review monthly G/L, bank, and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements
Assist with payroll and commission processing
Treasury management
Drive the month-end close process
Prepare consolidation & intercompany entries as necessary
Prepare comprehensive monthly variance reports comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods
Investigate and explain significant variances with input from department managers and leadership
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and financial health.
1099 analysis and preparation
Prepare and submit state and municipal tax filings
Assist with maintenance of accounting filing/records
Manage landlord payments and leases
Provide suggestions for process improvement
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3-4 years of public accounting experience preferred
Self-Directed, Self-Motivated, Strong Interpersonal Communications Skills, Highly Organized, Analytical, Advanced Computer Skills.
