What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is partnering with a private equity owned business in South Denver. This is a full time opportunity with a growing company that offers excellent benefits.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting and reporting processes at assigned operating companies including month end close, implementing and maintaining financial controls, working capital management, audit and tax compliance, budgeting, and variance reporting.
Partner with accounting personnel at operating company locations to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
Own completion of monthly accounting cycle and provide accurate/timely financial information within established financial reporting deadlines with process improvement focus.
Partner with the Accounting Manager and operating companies to implement and maintain financial controls.
Maintain the outsourced fixed asset register, determine capitalized items and depreciation rates per policy, and accurately process asset acquisition/disposal to the general ledger.
Oversee centralized cash funding, intercompany transfers, and group cash management for location and corporate bank reconciliations.
Partner with the corporate accounting team to furnish internal/external reports as necessary, analyze and interpret key metric and accounting information to assess company operating results.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience
2-3 years of experience in general accounting, general ledger management, financial statement preparation, transaction accounting, and ERP system application
Strong accounting background with GAAP and financial control application experience
Ability to work with multiple ERP systems and consolidating software
Nice to have:
Public Accounting foundation or straight public looking to transition into industry
CPA or CPA candidate
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
