Role: Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)
Location: Rib Lake, WI 54470 (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time /Permanent
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and collaborate closely with the CFO. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting activities, prepare financial statements, oversee accounts payable/receivable, handle payroll administration, and manage cost accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing accounting, financial analysis, and ERP systems, paired with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger functions and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with dealers and vendors, handling accounts payable/receivable and payment terms.
- Process monthly commission reports and manage payments for independent sales representatives.
- Handle new employee onboarding, bi-weekly payroll processing, and benefits management.
- Monitor cash accounts, review receipts and expenses, and work closely with banking partners.
- Manage relationships with insurance providers (workers' compensation, health, property & casualty), including annual renewals and claims processing.
- Assist in creating cost accounting methods to improve product cost transparency.
- Support ERP system enhancements and identify areas for improving financial reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance would be preferred.
- Experience in accounting for discrete manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of basic HR processes and benefits administration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees at all levels across departments.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
