About the Role
We are seeking a CMM Programmer to join our team, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. This role is critical in interpreting customer requirements, programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CMM programming and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CMM programs that accurately capture and interpret customer specifications and design intent.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and tooling teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support new product introduction processes, ensuring seamless integration into production.
- Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes and procedures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct and coordinate gauge and process capability studies as needed.
- Assist in compliance with ISO standards and support efforts to align with customer expectations.
- Identify and implement waste reduction strategies within the value stream.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of quality technology, equipment, and processes.
- Advocate for a customer-focused culture within the organization and CMM lab.
Qualifications
- Degree in Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- CMM programming experience or relevant training/certification required.
- Understanding of ISO quality standards (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace new ideas and process improvements.
