Role: Director of Accounting and Finance

Position Overview:

We are seeking an intelligent, resourceful, and hardworking accounting professional to join our team as the Director of Accounting and Finance. This executive will supervise a seasoned Controller and an accounting department of three individuals, recommending cost-effective efficiencies to streamline and automate operations. The position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in teams, adding value to our management strategy.

Qualifications:

· Prior supervisory experience.

· Public accounting experience.

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California (preferred).

· Prior experience in real estate finance and accounting, preferably in retail.

· Experience in Section 1031 exchanges is a significant plus.

· Full-time, in-office attendance is required.

· Family Office experience is a plus but not required.

· Investment management experience is a plus but not required.

· Knowledge of charitable foundations and coordination with foundations is valuable but not required.

· Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
