Technical Training and Support Manager – Coatings & Maintenance

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Training and Support Manager to lead training and support initiatives for protective coatings, corrosion control, and maintenance applications. This role involves delivering hands-on training, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing expert support to a global network of managers, distributors, and end users. While based at our Long Island, NY headquarters, this position requires occasional domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on protective coatings, surface preparation, and application techniques.
- Provide technical support to distributors, customers, and internal teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting and field application support to resolve technical challenges.
- Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and best practices in coatings and maintenance.
- Create technical materials, guides, and presentations to support training initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in facilities or equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, and application techniques.
- NACE or AMPP certification is a plus.
- Technical degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately once per quarter).

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
