Technical Training and Support Manager – Coatings and Maintenance

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead technical training and support for protective coatings, corrosion control, and maintenance applications. This role involves providing hands-on training, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to a global network of managers, distributors, and end users. While primarily based at our headquarters on Long Island, NY, occasional domestic and international travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs on protective coatings, surface preparation, and application techniques.
- Provide technical support to distributors, customers, and internal teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting and in-field application support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in coatings and maintenance.
- Create technical materials, guides, and presentations for training sessions.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities or equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, and application techniques.
- NACE or AMPP certification is a plus.
- Technical degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (about once per quarter).
