Coating Technician

Job Description:

Role: Technical Support Manager or Trainer (Coating)

Location: Medford, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

We are a leading manufacturer of high-performance polymer composites. We are looking for an experienced professional with knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, surface preparation and application techniques to provide technical support and training to our global organization. A buildings and machinery maintenance background and/or NACE or AMPP certification a definite plus.

The ideal person would have a technical degree as well as:

· 5 -10 years of experience in facilities or equipment repair and maintenance

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel to provide technical support – about once a quarter on average – domestically as well as internationally.

The right candidate will fill a key position in a growing, international manufacturing and sales organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
