QAD ERP Administrator

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced QAD ERP Administrator to oversee and enhance QAD ERP systems, ensuring smooth integration and streamlined operations. This role requires expertise in system configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and user training. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QAD modules, data accuracy, and process improvement to optimize business efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
ERP System Management
- Configure, maintain, and improve QAD ERP modules to align with business needs.
- Serve as the main contact for ERP-related issues, diagnosing and resolving system problems.
- Train users on ERP functionalities and create documentation for internal reference.
- Develop and maintain records of system configurations, workflows, and operational guidelines.
Process Enhancement and Integration
- Assess current business workflows and propose ERP-based enhancements.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to introduce automation and process improvements.
- Ensure proper data flow between QAD ERP and external systems such as CRM, MES, and WMS.
- Monitor system efficiency and suggest updates to maximize performance.
Upgrades and Compliance
- Manage software updates, patches, and performance improvements for the QAD ERP system.
- Ensure that ERP processes comply with data security policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct periodic data audits to identify and correct inconsistencies.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in QAD ERP system administration, setup, and maintenance.
- Background in manufacturing industry ERP systems is preferred.
Technical Proficiency
- Strong understanding of QAD ERP modules, configuration, and issue resolution.
- Experience with SQL databases, cloud-based QAD solutions, and system integrations is a plus.
- Familiarity with data security best practices and ERP optimization strategies.
