FlexStaff is seeking an experienced ERP Administrator to work for one of our external clients, a pharmaceutical manufacturer, located in Hauppauge, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job.
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the upgrading, implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of QAD (Quality Assurance Database) ERP systems. The QAD Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the QAD system effectively supports quality management and drives operational improvement initiatives.
An ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field and in-depth knowledge of QAD modules, including but not limited to Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- System Administration: Installing, configuring, and updating the QAD application.
- User Management: Setting up user accounts and permissions.
- Support and Training: Providing technical assistance and training to users.
- Data Management: Ensuring data integrity through backups and recovery processes.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing solutions to enhance business processes.
- Collaboration: Working with various departments to meet operational needs.
- Reporting: Generating reports to support decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
