Position: Civil Project Manager (Site Development)
Location: St. Augustine, FL (Onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the design, planning, and execution of site development projects. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies, and overseeing projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in civil engineering, site development, permitting, and construction oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and guide design teams through conceptual development, permitting, and preparation of construction documentation.
- Develop detailed drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports for DOT approvals, bidding, and construction.
- Work closely with clients, engineers, architects, and planners to plan and execute site development projects.
- Act as the primary client representative, coordinating meetings with government agencies and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the bidding process, including bid evaluations and award recommendations.
- Provide construction administration services, such as reviewing shop drawings, addressing RFIs, and monitoring project progress.
- Support business development initiatives in the Southeast region by maintaining client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Define project scopes, develop fee proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets and schedules.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
QualificationsEducation & Licensing:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in civil engineering and site development.
- Proven ability to lead client and board meetings for medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of land use planning, municipal approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with project documentation, regulatory approvals, and permitting processes.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing abilities.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software and project management tools.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for site visits and meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
