Civil Project Manager (Site Development)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead design, planning, and construction oversight for a variety of civil engineering projects. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with clients, coordinating with governing agencies, and overseeing project execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a design team through concept design, permitting, and construction documentation.
- Develop drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports for DOT approvals, bidding, and construction.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and planners to develop and execute projects.
- Act as the client representative, coordinating meetings with governing agencies and stakeholders.
- Oversee the project bid process, including bid tabulation and award recommendations.
- Provide construction administration services, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and monitoring construction progress.
- Support business development efforts within the Southeast region.
- Prepare scope and fee proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Ensure clear communication with team members, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10 years of experience in site development and civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of land use, municipal approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in leading client and board meetings for mid-to-large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in project submissions, documentation, and regulatory approvals.
- Skilled in mentoring and developing junior engineers.
- Excellent communication, organization, and technical writing skills.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
