Job Description:

Role: Business Intelligence Supervisor

Location: Jamul, CA

Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent

Essential duties and responsibilities

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

· Supervises all BI Analysts

· Trains BI Analysts on all technical and analytical aspects of their job

· Prepares and provides quarterly reviews of BI Analyst’s progress including praise for great performance and coaching for performance that is falling below successful levels

· Performs queries of various databases (standard and ad-hoc) to extract data for use in analysis.

· Presents and discusses analyses with high level executives

· Develops, maintains, and distributes key operating metrics to evaluate attainment of company’s operating, service and financial objectives

· Proactively seeks out margin enhancement opportunities and provides recommendations with relative departments

· Identify Market trends develop strategies to address potential concerns

· Responsible for short- and long-term financial analysis for the property including labor, and financial data reporting. Monitors labor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies

· Calculates profitability of marketing programs. Analyze results to identify opportunities for improving efficiency of marketing expenditures. Communicate findings to executive team.

· Develops presentations for periodic meetings and operational reviews.

· Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures guest service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department guest service goals

· Exercises sound judgement and maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters

· Will be expected to collect relevant data, structure data models, execute and interpret quantitative data.

· Should be self-directed and highly skilled in qualitative analytic insights with the ability to manage sensitive information in a confidential manner

· Must be capable of handling high exposure projects, have excellent organizational skills, and receptive to coaching and feedback

· Other duties may be assigned as needed

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor's degree or higher from a four-year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field

· Must have casino or hospitality experience

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Analytics or related field

· Advanced skills in Tableau, SQL, Microsoft systems inclusive of Excel and Access

· Selected applicants will be required to conduct skills assessment for final consideration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
