CNC Programmer Setup and Department Manager
Location: Harwood Heights, IL
Primary Responsibilities:
- Precision Programming & Analysis: Translate complex technical drawings into optimized CNC programs for high-efficiency machining.
- Operational Excellence: Program, set up, and refine machining operations to achieve maximum accuracy and production output.
- Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Proactively maintain, diagnose, and repair CNC machines (Citizen, Star, and Nexturn models) to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Control System Management: Expertly operate and manage Fanuc and Mitsubishi control systems to drive optimal machine performance.
- Department Leadership: Oversee the CNC department, manage production workflows, and enforce stringent quality control measures.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance machining efficiency, precision, and process optimization.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety and quality regulations throughout the production process.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience in CNC programming, setup, and precision machining.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Proven expertise in the operation and maintenance of Citizen, Star, and Nexturn CNC machines.
- Advanced proficiency with Fanuc and Mitsubishi CNC control systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high precision in all machining tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); familiarity with MS Access programming is a significant advantage.
- Significant prior experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
