Role: Architect

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, fostering strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
- Support clients in the early stages of project development by coordinating internal and external resources, including:
- Assisting with referendum campaigns.
- Conducting educational adequacy assessments and programming.
- Performing facility evaluations.
- Providing development and programming support.
- Assisting with pre-construction planning.
- Offering site selection guidance.
- Identifying alternative funding sources and entitlements.
- Collaborating with in-house funding teams to secure financial support.
- Contribute to proposal development, interviews, and strategic initiatives within the K-12, Higher Education, and Healthcare sectors.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies by:
- Partnering with stakeholders to create strategic plans.
- Identifying industry growth opportunities and engagement strategies.
- Representing the company at industry trade shows and professional associations.
- Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEducation & Licensure
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Current architectural licensure required.
Experience
- Minimum of six years of post-graduate experience in planning, design, documentation, and construction within the K-12, Higher Education, and Healthcare sectors.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficiency in BIM360, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Advanced knowledge of building codes, life safety standards, and process improvement systems in education and healthcare (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP).
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong multitasking ability, capable of managing multiple projects under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Effective time management skills to enhance productivity and achieve objectives.
- Commitment to company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Professionalism & Work Ethic
- High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel as needed, including attending School Board meetings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Collaborative team player with deep technical knowledge of construction detailing and materials, backed by hands-on field experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
