AWS Cloud Developer( with Active Secret Clearance)

Job Description:

Role: Cloud Developer

Location: Clarksburg, WV

Job Type: Fulltime

Job Overview:

· Lead the management and support of underlying infrastructure for enterprise applications, particularly Atlassian Data Center Suite and other enterprise offerings, ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration.

Required Security Background:

· Active Secret Facility Clearance required at time of application

· Must be eligible to obtain and maintain FBI security clearance

· Must be willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement and Warrantless Search Agreement

Required Experience:

· Minimum of seven (7) years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining applications in AWS, including proficiency with AWS

services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Cloud Formation, and AWS API Gateway

· Minimum of two (2) years' experience in configuring, customizing, and maintaining Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) on

AWS infrastructure

· Minimum working 2-5 years within DOJ or FBI environments and complete understanding of DOJ Data-lake

· Proficiency in developing and maintaining applications with expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js

· Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and version control

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Packer, and AWS Cloud Formation

Preferred Experience:

· Experience working with GovCloud environments

· Experience with security compliance requirements for federal systems

· Experience supporting mission-critical systems in law enforcement or intelligence community

· Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)

Education:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field

· Relevant certifications in AWS, cloud architecture, or DevOps

Key Skills:

· Advanced AWS cloud management expertise

· Strong knowledge of Atlassian tool administration and performance optimization

· Proficiency in software development and application architecture

· Experience with CI/CD implementation and maintenance

· Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and logging solutions

· Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments

· Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies

· Ability to work on-cal rotation for critical system support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
