Graham Technologies is seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based application solutions. This role will support full lifecycle project execution, from concept through deployment, with a strong focus on AWS architecture, automation, and enterprise integration.
Location: Remote work but needs to be close to Clarksburg, WV (must be within proximity for on-site meetings)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of cloud-centered application development projects-from initial concept through final implementation.
- Define project scope, objectives, and technical approach in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud applications and infrastructure solutions.
- Plan and manage cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, performance tuning, and security controls.
- Create detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource allocations.
- Lead project tracking, status reporting, and risk mitigation activities.
- Conduct regular project meetings and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Manage vendor deliverables and coordinate cross-functional tasks.
- Design and implement APIs, orchestration workflows, and cloud automation solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to the development team.
- Document system architectures, integration solutions, and operational procedures.
Required Skills:
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- A bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7 years of experience developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications in AWS, including hands-on use of services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
- Proficiency in software development using Java, Python, or Node.js, with strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
- 2 years of experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) on AWS infrastructure configuration, customization, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), automation tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Deep understanding of cloud application security, scalability, and high availability.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect).
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and collaborative development tools.
