Job Description:
Role: Corporate Controller
Location: Independence, OH
As the Corporate Controller, you will oversee the financial backbone of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will be a key player in our leadership team, providing insights that drive business decisions and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Oversee the preparation of complete, accurate, and timely financial statements
Ø Ensure data integrity for planning, forecasting, and decision-making
Ø Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights
Ø Compile and analyze financial reporting packages for leadership and investors
Ø Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, supporting company growth initiatives
Ø Develop and manage internal financial controls to ensure compliance and efficiency
Ø Communicate key financial metrics to senior management
Ø Provide leadership and support to AR and AP teams
Ø Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and legal requirements
Ø Maintain a high level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism
Ø Ability to work flexible hours when necessary to meet financial deadlines
What We’re Looking For :
Ø Financial Expertise – Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Ø GAAP & Regulatory Knowledge – Deep understanding of accounting principles and compliance
Ø Analytical Mindset – Ability to translate numbers into strategy
Ø ERP Systems & Financial Software Experience – NetSuite ERP preferred
Ø Manufacturing & Cost Accounting Experience – Understanding of financial operations in a manufacturing environment
Ø Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to manage processes, teams, and develop standards
Ø CPA or relevant certification preferred
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Ø Ability to travel 10-15% as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
Schedule:
