We are looking for a Corporate Controller to work for our client headquartered in Cleveland. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a high-performing accounting organization through training and mentorship of team members
- Create strategies and policies to support and execute all Corporate Accounting activities and coordinate supporting information systems, including policies, procedures, and initiatives with operating and support stakeholders
- Establish and maintain GAAP-compliant accounting, design and implement appropriate financial controls and procedures
- Partner closely with the FP&A team to provide timely and accurate reporting for forecasting and analytics
- Develop and implement strategies to improve accounting processes for revenue recognition, capitalization of equipment and software development, and accounting system configurations
- Collaborate with the CFO to develop, implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls and ensure company assets are adequately safeguarded
- Create a positive team environment and ensure the team provides accurate and timely financial information while fostering innovation and automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 8 years of accounting experience
- Prior management experience required
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Technical accounting knowledge with in-depth knowledge of revenue recognition
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in strategic business and financial analysis
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
