Overview
Job Title : Warehouse Worker
Department : Seconds and Surplus
Reports To : Store Manager and Assistant Manager
General Description : Receives, assembles, and stocks merchandise in a building materials supply store by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Functions include the following, other activities may be assigned :
- Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Assemble products, stock merchandise, load customers, load and unload vendor shipments, and handle other manual labor related duties within the store to assist the team and customers.
- Operate equipment and tools necessary to complete the tasks at hand.

Qualifications
Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
