What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Administrator (Syteline) position at E.C. Styberg Engineering Company?
Role Responsibilities:
- Use tools to gather, analyze, and report business-related data from support requests.
- Help to maintain data integrity and stability within our current framework.
- Design and generate new form and report functionality within our ERP system (Infor).
- Support data requests for new BI dashboards and reporting functionality within BIRST.
- Maintain user access to our database platform (creating and removing users and changing user permissions) as needed or requested.
- Help guide data-related business decisions while maintaining current industry standard best practices.
- Produce documentation for the use of new dashboards and reports being created for current and future training.
- Perform upgrade testing and validation.
- Develop and maintain custom functionality within the ERP system.
- Participate as part of the help-desk team, assisting with T1 and on/offboarding tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related field(or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel).
- A strong programming background (C#, VB, and SQL preferred).
- Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL experience.
- Exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form
- Works well in a team environment.
- General windows and client software/hardware knowledge.
- Infor Syteline development & administration experience strongly preferred.
