What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-commerce Business Associate position at E-commerce business?
This is a unique position helping to manage a small online business. We utilize multiple online shopping channels such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace and Poshmark.
Looking for a self motivated individual who can read well and pays very close attention to detail. Must be able to follow instructions closely and work alone comfortably and efficiently.
Some experience selling, sourcing or buying goods online (and being familiar and comfortable with computers and technology) is necessary for this position. General problem solving skills and being able to think on your feet is a must.
Using google and eBay to evaluate prices quickly and determine value and relevancy of items accurately is absolutely necessary and will be an important part of this position.
Experience with spreadsheets and data entry / record keeping is also a plus.
This position will occasionally require some cleaning and light to moderate lifting for storage, prep and pulling / packaging of shipped items.
Being willing to take a compensated drive to pick up or drop off items as necessary is also very helpful.
Looking for 8 hours per week (on site / in person) @ $18.00 per hour. Additional hours will become available if you are effective.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Securely and accurately packaging products for shipment to customers, printing shipping labels and making sure items are always shipped on time (this will be the absolute priority).
Answering customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Taking pictures of items and creating or updating quality online postings so they sell (this will be the bulk of the time spent).
Secondary tasks like keeping the office area neat, restocking supplies when necessary and solving problems as they occur will also be part of this job.
I have run this small online business for over 20 years and need a reliable, dependable and responsible individual to help with the day to day duties a few times per week. Looking for someone to start right away. The schedule can be slightly flexible but it is REQUIRED that you show up at least 2 times per week during normal weekday working hours to make sure packages get shipped on time.
