Maintenance Technician - Multi-Family Residential Complex
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our professional property management team. This role combines technical expertise with customer service to maintain our residential community and ensure resident satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs across the property
- Perform skilled repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
- Execute apartment turnover preparations, including repairs and upgrades
- Maintain accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with property management team on maintenance scheduling and updates
- Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multi-family or related facilities
- Working knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair
- EPA certification and/or HVAC certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical/vocational certification in building maintenance or related field
- Experience with property management software
- Bilingual skills a plus
