E&E Foods is launching a search for a seasonal Fish Ticket Clerk at our Pacific Star Plant in Kenai, Alaska. In this role, the ideal candidate will assist in managing fisher accounts and records for the E&E Foods Kenai operation. They will ensure timely and accurate reporting and payments. In addition, they will uphold and demonstrate compliance with company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will:
The Fish Ticket Clerk will need to be a self-starter with ability to work independently and maintain professional demeanor and attitude. They must be a creative problem solver and able to work effectively despite persistent interruptions and changing priorities.
They must possess good verbal & written communication skills and have strong interpersonal communication skills including empathy, diplomacy, and necessary discretion with ability to maintain confidentiality. They will need to work positively with others within every aspect of Pacific Star Seafoods, and E&E Foods Corporate Team.
Finally, they will need to be well organized and able to prioritize projects and deadlines and have intermediate or greater computer and accounting software skill.
Requirements:
Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Create and maintain confidential fisher records and files in accordance with company policies, laws and regulations.
- Buy Station / Tender Tickets info Landings
- Fish Ticket checks
- Homer Wharfage Reports
- Fisher Account Setup in Parity
- Fisher Storage Agreements
- Follow all company policies and procedures and show leadership in supporting those policies and procedures.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- The starting wage is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour.
- Round trip airfare from largest city near point of hire to plan location in Alaska.
- Free room and board
WORK ENVIRONMENT and LIVING LOCATION:
- Must be able to sustain a 12 hour per day/7 days a week work schedule for the duration of the season, approximately June 1 through early September.
- Housing is dormitory style, and you may share a room with up to 3 people.
