e&e is seeking a Maintenance Programs Assistant for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in at least two (2) of the following fields :
Fleet Management
Roadway Programs Management
Emergency Operations
Budgeting
The candidate must possess a valid PA Driver’s License. This role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a commitment to excellence in managing various aspects of maintenance operations.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate with maintenance programs management to address operational needs and develop solutions to challenges.
Serve as a liaison between the Maintenance Programs team and other departments to ensure smooth project coordination and accurate tracking and forecasting of labor, equipment, and material needs.
Assist in developing and reviewing maintenance operating and capital budgets and represent the Maintenance Department at executive capital plan meetings.
Create materials, provide training, and support the implementation of new programs within the Maintenance Department.
Plan and organize Maintenance Fleet unit operations and staff functions, including work assignments and product reviews.
Oversee the equipment disposal process, identifying surplus or obsolete equipment, and recommending maintenance, disposal, or replacement strategies.
Support the equipment acquisition process, including specification development, equipment delivery, and distribution to field locations.
Process and receive new equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and completion of required paperwork.
Monitor federal and state legislation requirements regarding vehicle and equipment operation.
Evaluate existing, new, and experimental equipment for suitability and effectiveness.
Apply situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents.
Perform related duties as assigned.
