Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. This role involves creating and automating test cases, performing application testing, validating bugs, and managing configuration, change, and release processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and automate software test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
• Perform thorough application testing to identify and isolate issues.
• Validate bugs and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
• Write and initiate tests, analyze results, and report findings in the ticketing system.
• Perform configuration management, change management, and release management to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor and track quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing.

Qualifications:

• Active Top-Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
• Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with configuration management, change management, and release management processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and bug tracking tools.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
