Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for completing the final touches on various projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and client specifications. This position requires knowledge and experience in construction painting, power tools, hand tools, forklift operation, basic math, and assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Apply finishing touches to completed projects, such as sanding, buffing, and polishing
- Perform construction painting tasks to ensure a smooth and even finish
- Use power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials as needed
- Utilize hand tools to assemble and disassemble parts
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility
- Apply basic math skills to measure and calculate dimensions accurately
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise during the finishing process
Skills:
- Proficient in construction painting techniques
- Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in finishing work
- Competent in operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to assemble and disassemble parts accurately
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Proficiency in machining techniques for shaping materials
