Position Overview :
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our dedicated team, ensuring the safety and security of our retail establishments in the Metro Atlanta area via walking and mobile patrols.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of security experience . With a strong commitment to customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the physical stamina to engage in extensive walking throughout their shift.
As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and pleasant shopping environment for both customers and staff.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Security Monitoring and Surveillance :
Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols on foot to deter and detect any suspicious activities within the retail premises.
Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner, offering assistance when needed.
Employ effective theft prevention techniques, including maintaining awareness of potential shoplifters and monitoring high-risk areas.
Respond promptly to any emergency situations, such as medical incidents, fires, or other security-related incidents.
Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
Accurately document any security incidents, observations, or interventions in written reports.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with fellow security team members, store staff, and management to address security concerns and maintain a unified approach to security.
Identify and report potential safety hazards or security vulnerabilities within the store premises.
