What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist Prevailing Wage position at E Light Electric Services, Inc.?
Summary:
•Prevailing Wage / Certified Payroll
•Track and maintain compliance with The Inflation Reduction Act requirements
•Engage and communicate with project teams on project compliance
•First point of contact with customer for questions or problems
•Coordinate benefit listing, apprenticeship roster, and other required documents with HR, getting forms updated as requested
•Review all time on Prevailing Wage/Certified payroll projects for ratios
•Report certified payroll weekly
•Review internal reports and check for accuracy
•Collect paperwork submitted from subcontractors, review for accuracy, and forward with our certified documents weekly to our customer
•Send weekly updates to team and maintain status logs
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, contractors, supervisors and employees
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED certificate.
2 years of administrative experience.
2 years’ payroll experience, certified payroll experience preferred.
Construction industry knowledge a plus. Intermediate skills in Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel are required.
