The Norfolk Airport Authority (NAA) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Information Technology (IT) consulting vendors to provide strategic IT consulting support services. The selected firm will assist in the enhancement, build out, and upgrade of the airport's computer-based information technology systems and networks, as well as offer procurement guidance and long-term IT planning.
This engagement requires a forward-thinking, independent consulting partner with deep expertise in modern IT infrastructure and operations, particularly in complex and high-traffic environments such as airports.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed analysis of current systems and identification of improvement areas.
- Risk evaluation with proposed recommendations.
- Defined goals, timelines, and technology integration milestones.
- Architectural designs, diagrams, and technical configurations.
- Instructional documents to support end-user onboarding.
- A comprehensive document outlining the long-term vision, features, and support strategy.
- Regular updates and final summary of all services rendered.
Qualifications:
- Minimum experience of 5 years of experience in IT consulting.
- Proven track record of IT system design, infrastructure planning, emerging technology integration, and solution implementation for large-scale organizations.
- Preferred experience with public sector organizations, airports, or entities of similar operational complexity and scale.
