E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Open-Source Research Analyst- Ukrainian to join our team in Fort Belvoir, VA in support of the 1st Information Operations Command. 1st Information Operations Command provides relevant information support to the U.S. Army and all Military Forces around the world to synchronize information capabilities and prepare forces to resist adversary information warfare while providing specialized IO training to enable Army and Joint forces to achieve information advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and provide input to Combatant Command, Army Service Component Command, and higher headquarters plans, and orders for feasibility, compatibility, effectiveness, or expected results.
- Develop Operational Concepts, synchronization matrixes, supporting lines of efforts, and courses of action to support the desired effects and objectives of supported units and organizations.
- Monitor, research, and analyze the information environment of Combatant Command areas of responsibility.
- Research and produce Information Operations assessments, reports, and projections.
- Use online tools and automated systems to collect information, research requirements, support information dissemination, input orders and requirements, and maintain situational awareness of the information environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Either a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience with Ukrainian language analysis or a Highschool Diploma and 7 years of experience with Ukrainian language analysis.
- 3 years of experience with conducting Open-Source Research (OSR) or Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT).
- Experience with researching in the source language on foreign language websites.
- Experience with foreign nation's social media use, customs, and terminology.
- Ability to show Reading and Listening test scores of ILR 3 /3 or ACTFL Superior for the Ukrainian language.
- Experience with commercial or government OSINT or PAI research tools.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
