Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Processing Manager to lead our mortgage processing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mortgage operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for optimizing processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the mortgage processing department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of processing staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and adherence to deadlines.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Prepare and analyze reports on processing metrics and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Proficient with Arive LOS is a requirement.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in mortgage processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in mortgage processing software, including Arive LOS, and MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
