Position Summary
E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for an Estimator. A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include:
- Champion safety throughout the organization
- All facets of project estimating including: analyzing plans and proposals, defining scope of work, soliciting subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring accurate quantities, and preparing bid packages
- Identify bid opportunities, obtain and review bid documents and plans.
- Assess opportunities and risks through plan reviews and site visits.
- All facets of bid preparation, review and submission.
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Assist in development of project schedule.
- Support transition to project construction management team and development of subcontracts, purchase orders and submittals.
- Manage and develop production cost-history through field verifications, measurements and production analysis.
- Perform job costing analysis and provide feedback to field supervisors regarding performance versus budget.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.
- 5 years of experience.
- PE certification preferred but not necessary.
- Experience in field operations and estimating from a contractor's perspective.
- Strong teamwork, communication, self-motivation, leadership and organizational skills.
