Position Summary
E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Finish Grade Excavator Operator. A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include:
- Operate grader to spread and level material according to grade specification
- Manipulate hand and/or foot controls to operate a grader on haul roads
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, moving in response to hand or audio signals
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures
- Lodging and per diem will be provided based on the proximity of the job location to the person's home
Qualifications:
- 2 years UTS grader experience
- 2 years GPS grader/dozer experience
- Ability to travel within a 2-hour radius of Shelby, NC (assignments at each location will last 2-8 weeks)
- Knowledge of operating trimmer
- Backup curb/pavement with mini excavator
- Demonstrate safe operating practices of various pieces of equipment
- Pre-employment drug screening
