Position Summary
E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Heavy Highway Fleet Technician. A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include:
- Inspecting trucks for proper performance.
- Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.
- Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
- Repairing damaged equipment parts.
- Performing major repair work
- Consulting/ collaborating with other mechanics as needed
- Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to Equipment Department management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Class B CDL minimum preferred
- Position will require nights and weekends as needed
- Focus on Paccar truck models
- Strong background in wheel end/brake diagnosing and repair
- Experience with dump trailers and dump trucks
- Experience with air control systems
- Service truck experience is preferred
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug screening
- Charlotte-Douglas International Airport does not allow individuals to work on this jobsite if they have been convicted of a felony within the previous 10 years
