Job Summary: Business Operations Support will be responsible for managing office-related activities and providing support for various tax and accounting functions. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing necessary documents, and performing front desk duties, requiring strong multitasking abilities in an office environment. Given the sensitive nature of the financial information handled, a high level of confidentiality is essential. Candidates will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to safeguard proprietary and confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance:
- Enter sensitive data to the software, scan, and save supporting documents.
- Prepare checklist for clients, due diligence questioners and other task.
- Assist on filing state, and local tax returns.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Financial Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Accounting Support:
- Communicate well with Accountants
- Assist in Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist in other accounting task
- Front Desk Responsibilities:
- Personable, greet and assist visitors and clients.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Manage office supplies and ensure the front office operates smoothly.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and organizing files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in tax and accounting roles is preferred but not required; newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based position with standard working hours.
- May require occasional overtime during peak periods (e.g., tax season).
- Training will be provided.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
