Technical Management
Skill enhancement
Accountable to analyze market trends and acquire / upgrade technical knowledge and share with the team
Responsible to have awareness of relevant tools and standards (commercial, in-house, customer proprietary)
Solution development
Contributes to develop solution / PoC for identified concepts with guidance from technology consultants
Quality standards
Responsible to conduct technical reviews in the project and provide suggestions for improvement if any
Accountable to collect and contribute to the knowledge management and best practices
Project management and governance
Responsible for detailed project planning, including assumptions, schedule, deliverables with milestones, identifying resource and competency requirements, inventory management and change management. Contributes to identify and mitigate the risks.
Accountable for inter-disciplinary / on-site team coordination and stake holder management
Accountable to conformance and compliance to organizational / customer guidelines, processes and standard practices in project deliveries
Ensures to prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends
Work order management
Responsible for optimal resource utilisation for timely delivery and improved efficiency. Has cost awareness and assists delivery Manager (DM) in executing the projected growth plan
Accountable for requirement analysis as per customer expectation and track for change management
Risk management
Accountable to escalate the issues in a timely fashion to prevent risks
Responsible to identify project risks and mitigate them by appropriate solution
Process Management
Drive quality metrics
Maintains project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems if any
Implements and identifies measures for defect prevention / elimination and ensures closure of defects if any as per the QMS and SLA
Accountable for process compliance. Participates in project audits. Tailors and develops standard check lists
Process adherence / Improvement
Accountable for delegation and collective decision making in the group.
Responsible for setting and achieving project target on quality and process compliance in consultation with DM
Ensures to keep all project related documentation up-to- date as per the organization / project process
Ensures to identify drive and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of work
Principal Accountabilities (B)
Customer Management
Manage and build relationships
Accountable for communication with onsite coordinator / customers to share delivery performance and understand issues, if any
Customer engagement
Responsible for project execution strategy and ensure that deliverables are planned according to customer expectations, quality requirements, within agreed budget and timelines
Feedback management
Responsible to monitor timely customer feedback, analyse the area of concern and roll out the action plans to address them
People Management
Team performance
Ensures to facilitate periodic meetings to share team performance, communicate new initiatives and convey expectations
Ensures harmonious and professional working environment. Responsible for conflict resolution when needed
Provides clear goals and objectives to direct subordinates, do periodic follow-up and conduct performance appraisals
Responsible to motivate team members through reward programs
Business and Strategy
Business development
Contributes business development by show casing organizational capabilities for potential projects in the account
Revenue and profitability
Responsible to implement project profitability and helps DM in executing the growth plan
Accountable to proactively contribute to project proposal activities
External Skills And Expertise
The scope of the role is centered on assigned project, managing project related activities from conception to completion. Responsibilities includes detailed project planning, identifying resource and competency requirements, schedule management, change management, risk management, reporting project metrics to senior management, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and internal and external stakeholders
